Brunei Darussalam is currently in the Northeast Monsoon season, which typically persist until March 2026. Active weather conditions are expected until 12th of January.

The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department informed that showers, occasionally heavy and thundery are expected to affect several areas of the country especially in the afternoon and at night, and potentially persist until early morning of the next day. Wind gust of up to 45 kilometres per day during or near heavy and thundery showers. Sea conditions are generally at moderate to rough state. There is a high risk of flash floods especially in low-lying and flood prone areas.
